Welcome to the IAI Diniyyah Pekanbaru Repository user guide. Follow these steps to easily access and utilize our collection of scholarly works.
1. Getting Started and Navigation
Access the Repository: Open your browser and go to the repository's main page.
Quick Search: Use the search bar at the top of the page to find works by title, author, subject, or a specific keyword. Simply type your keyword and press Enter.
Browse by Category: You can also browse our collection through several main categories on the homepage, such as:
Authors: Explore all works grouped by the author's name.
Publication Year: Find works published in specific years.
Subjects: Search for works based on academic fields or research topics.
Collection Type: Select a specific type of publication (e.g., Undergraduate Thesis, Master's Thesis, Journal, Seminar Paper).
2. Finding and Accessing Documents
Search Results: After you perform a search, the results page will display a list of relevant works. Each entry will show the title, author, and publication year.
View Document Details: Click on the title of the work you want to view. You will be taken to a details page that contains complete information, such as the abstract, keywords, supervisor, and other data.
Download the Document: On the details page, there is usually a button or a link to download the document file (in PDF or other formats). Make sure you read the terms of use (if any) before downloading.
Use Specific Keywords: For more accurate results, use more specific keywords. For example, instead of "Islamic education," try "Al-Qur'an teaching methodology."
Use Boolean Operators: Use operators like AND, OR, or NOT to narrow or broaden your search. For example:
'education' AND 'digital' (searches for works containing both keywords)
'economics' OR 'business' (searches for works containing either keyword)
'theology' NOT 'modern' (searches for works about theology, but excludes those related to modern)
For academics who want to upload works, follow the log-in and submission steps below.
Access and Register:
Visit the campus repository website: https://repository.diniyyah.ac.id/.
Create an account by clicking the Create Account button.
Fill in all required data and then click Register.
Start Submission:
After registration is complete, you will be directed to the Item List. Click the Tambah Item (Add Item) button to upload your Thesis/Paper.
Required Data Fields (Mandatory):
Title (Complete, matching the manuscript)
Year (Year of creation/publication)
Type (Submission Type: Thesis, Books, Article, etc.)
Abstrak (Abstract in Indonesian and/or English)
Subjects (Select the appropriate academic/research category)
Division (Select your original study program/Prodi Asal)
Validation:
Once the upload is successful, please contact the librarian for validation.
